Important Information for Parents of Beaver Falls High School Seniors

Caps and Gowns
Caps and gowns will be distributed to in-person seniors on Wednesday, May 26. Any in-person senior who will not be in school on that day will need to make arrangements to pick up their cap and gown with Mrs. Couper in guidance. Digital Academy and synchronous students can pick up caps and gowns at the attendance office during normal business hours. Seniors will need to turn in their Chromebooks and chargers in order to pick up their caps and gowns. Wednesday, May 26 will be the last official school day for seniors.
Senior Awards Assembly and Senior Walk
The senior awards assembly will take place at 8:00 AM on Thursday, May 27 in the middle school auditorium. At approximately 9:00 AM when the awards assembly concludes, seniors who wish to participate in the senior walk will wear their caps and gowns and walk through the Middle School, Central Elementary, and Big Beaver Elementary. Transportation to Big Beaver will be provided for seniors who registered. The senior walk should be done by 10:15 AM.
Commencement Practice
Commencement practice will be held on Wednesday, June 2 at 1:00 PM in the middle school gymnasium. All seniors planning to participate in commencement must attend. Practice will last as long as it needs to. If everyone shows up on time and cooperates, things will go quickly. Tickets for commencement will be distributed at commencement practice. Seniors will be given six tickets for commencement.
Commencement will be held on June 3 at 7:00 PM in the middle school gymnasium. There will be a parade for seniors immediately after the ceremony. No senior is obligated to participate, but the parade was pretty popular last year. Information about parking, times, and the parade route will be finalized and given out at commencement practice on June 2.
