In 2018, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf signed Act 44 of 2018 into law.
While Act 44 is expansive, a key mandate in the law requires the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General to implement a school safety anonymous tips program.
In partnership with a non-profit organization, Sandy Hook Promise, the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General is preparing to activate the “Safe2Say Something” anonymous tips line effective January 14, 2019.
While we prepare for the activation of this program, please continue to promptly report any tips relating to school safety and security to any school administrator, local or state law enforcement entity.
Over the next few weeks, the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General will provide additional guidance on implementation.
The District will continue to communicate updates to all stakeholders on our website.
